The purpose of our approach is to foster competency in the learner’s ability to generalize skills learned to their natural environment (home, school, etc..). We have general goals which include:

- to be successful in future educational and community experiences
- to develop the ability of how to learn
- to develop self-control and self monitoring of behaviors
- to learn cooperation with other children as well as adults
